Ms Tan knew the right ways to engage us as a tutor and catered specifically to our different weaknesses and needs. She would cover not just content but also techniques and unique insights that turned Economics from something abstract and boring to a fun and relevant subject. Lessons were highly educational but never dry, and I grew to appreciate the subject under her tutelage, and also improve by leaps and bounds academically.”

I enjoyed Hazel’s lessons and found them beneficial. She makes it more straightforward for us to remember key content for certain topics, so that it is faster for us to extract critical information and form points when writing essays. Her lessons are conducive for discussion and are not pressurizing. Additionally, she goes through essay questions which test things that we may have overlooked. After attending her classes, I found that I had an easier time remembering content and answering techniques. I definitely felt more prepared and confident in the subject.

Ms Tan provides very useful advice and is very patient. While I went to lesson with all the content mixed up, I left with a clearer understanding of the topic and knowledge on how to better answer questions related to it. She also helps to differentiate the various question types and makes sure that we write to meet the question specifications and include all the required keywords. Aside from that, she is a very fun and chill person, which makes lesson more enjoyable, and makes asking questions a lot easier.
